Update!

My appointment on the 11th didn't go as I'd hoped. Although my baby is very healthy, which I'm extremely glad about, I didn't get to find out the sex. I was so excited too! However, I have an ultrasound scheduled for the 25th and I get to find out then (if my baby doesn't hide it's privates of course lol).

So I went shopping the other day and got a lot of cute stuff, not only for my baby, but myself too. I'd been wanting to feel pretty so I bought some cute dresses. I know some may say that is stupid because the weather hasn't been the warmest, but hey, I live in Florida and the weather will warm up soon, I just know it.
My mom also helped me get my earrings out of my cartilage. I had them pierced in March and the earrings were lock on and very hard to get off. Now I have different earrings in, but to be honest, they aren't very cute. I am thinking about changing them out again, but I have to find different earrings.

On top of all that exciting stuff, I was disappointed with the news that I couldn't start college with my friends.... AGAIN. I have to wait until March... The only thing about that is that I will be stuck doing Express classes. That just means I will be stuck in class longer every day to try to cram all this new information in my head in a shorter amount of time. Definitely not going to be the most fun for someone who will be 3 months away from having a baby. Lol, I am determined though so I am going to try my best.

BOY or GIRL?!

Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment where I'll see my baby for the first time in an ultrasound and hopefully my baby won't be shy and they can tell me the sex!
I did a poll asking my friends and family what they think it is and so far, the majority of the votes are "boy". I want a girl but I will be happy no matter what the outcome. I'm just excited all together that I'm going to be a mom. I've already bought 2 outfits (neutral colors of course) and they are so cute! They are hanging up in my closet (: I also bought a very cute diaper bag! My mom is having me slowly bye stuff to stock up on. 


So, I'm thinking of having my baby shower in April. I want to do an under water theme! I think it'd be cute. I couldn't decide whether to do an animal theme, like zoo or jungle, or under water. Since my room has animal print already, I figure I'll do the baby bedding and whatnot in animal and the baby shower in under water theme.


As far as names go, I've already picked names for boy and girl. If I have a boy, his name will be Ethan Connor Cheney and if I have a girl I am naming her Avril Layne Cheney!

New Years Eve

    Last night was New Years Eve and I did nothing. I had planned to take a trip to New Port Richey for the weekend and kick off the new year with some friends, however, they had other plans. Again on New Years Eve, I missed the ball drop and I didn't see any fireworks (though I heard plenty). I sat inside with my mother and watched Life Time Movies, which wasn't bad. I really don't feel like I had to celebrate it seeing as I already know my New Years will be rocky. I have a lot to get done in just this first week of January. I have to attempt to get myself to the college to re-take my College Placement Test. I bombed horribly on it the first time and will have to take uncredited classes if I don't. Then I have to talk to a counselor and set up my classes, pay the $40 fee if I haven't already (I don't really remember), and figure out when my next doctor's appointment is! While I do all of that I have to hope and pray that my transcripts have gotten to the college. I don't even know if I got my financial aid! All in all, it is going to be a very stressful beginning to a new year.

    On top of everything, I am pregnant so I have little energy. My sister, who is also pregnant, and her two children are stay with us, leaving me to sleep on the couch as I have mentioned in a previous post. I wish I had these last 6 months to enjoy myself before my own baby comes, but instead I am stuck watching my sister's kids until they get into daycare. I am constantly cleaning up after my sister, the slob, and her children. She says "I'll get that" and never does, so of course, I end up having to. Wouldn't want my stepfather to give her a hard time or anything.

I really hope I get into college this semester, I miss learning. Plus, it will actually give me something to do that will benefit me, unlike being a parent to my sister's kids. I'm frustrated and about to snap.

    Well, to lighten the mood a bit, I am trying to do something fun for myself... I decided to make an attempt on the 365 project, taking a picture everyday of this year. I thought this would be something fun. It doesn't take very long to take one picture everyday so I know I will have time to do this. In the little spare time that I get, I can upload and share them. I figure being able to improve my photography skills will be something worth while and being able to capture little memories... It should be nice. I know I will have a lot of pictures when my Cuddle-bug arrives. (:

January 11th; Excited :D

My next doctor's appointment is on January 11th. I am going in for more blood work because they didn't get enough blood at my first appointment for all the tests I signed to have done. Well, I am 15 weeks today so, if I'm lucky, they will do an ultrasound and tell me the sex of my baby! I really hope they will do an ultrasound! I haven't gotten to see my baby yet, only heard its heartbeat. So, needless to say I am very anxious about this next appointment. My fingers are crossed for a little girl, but I will love my Cuddle-bug no matter what it turns out to be (: As long as I have a healthy baby!♥

Separated Family

Since my parents were separated, my dad got the boys (my 2 brothers) and my mom got the girls (my sister and myself). Well, since then, 2 more brothers have been added to the family. All four of my brothers live with my dad in Texas.
I really miss them, I only get to see them over summer breaks or an occasional holiday. However, now that I am starting school soon, getting there for whole summers is going to be more difficult. I didn't get to spend this past summer 2010 with them because I was taking care of my sister's two kids (ages then 2 and 11 months). The last time I saw them was in April 2010 when I went for a 2 week visit. That just isn't enough time. I love my brothers and we get along great.... and maybe separation brings us closer together, but it is almost as though I don't know them. I only get to talk to them on the phone every so often because of school and trying to find a job. Plus, our talks are never too long because my younger brothers range from age 3 to14 and my older brother isn't always around the house to be able to talk and catch up.
A lot of the time, I wish we all lived closer. My mom's husband wants to stay in Florida and my dad thinks Florida is a terrible state so of course there isn't much of a choice. I can't live with my dad because there is already so many people there (My dad, stepmother, 4 boys). There's not much space for comfortable living if I moved there too especially since I am expecting a baby.

My point is, I miss my brothers...
